I am passionate about storytelling through my artwork. My fascination with history, community, wildlife, and the human form shapes my figurative and representational pieces. This diverse range of interests allows me to connect my art with various locations, backgrounds, and audiences. I strive to convey my narratives using simplified forms that capture the essence of each animal, person, or scene, fostering a deep engagement between the viewer and my work.
With twenty-five years of architectural experience behind me, I have developed the skills to create art at both large and small scales while understanding the importance of site-specificity. My training in materials, specifications, and detailing greatly informs my choices in materials, forms, and structural strategies, ensuring that each piece is thoughtfully crafted and well-suited to its environment.
